Seems like this method worked, just loosened up the three bolts, 1 for the M/C bolt and 2 for the prop valve, so I could start the fittings by hand, nothing worse than cross threading fittings at this point!!

Now onto the bleeders

Thinking of supporting the safety pin on the prop valve, so it doesn't slide open, but can't think of a way yet

Forgot to mention that I pushed on the pedal when the recirculating pipes were in place, seemed to get the air out

This old coating from eastwood seems to be impervious from brake fluid
