I had to buy a new set of a-pillar fender supports as my were weak in several areas after I removed them from the old metal.

I use weld through primer when I sandwich metal together to prevent rusting between them after I weld.

I bolt together the lower a-pillar and the fender support and then weld them in. Welds have not been dressed yet in the pic.
