I look at it this way!
Not to be too harsh but if you can’t get a 2GV to run right then you’ll pull all your hair out working on that afb!

They’re a good carb but need attention to float level, float drop, jets and metering rods, secondary air door, fuel pressure and fuel percolation.

If you can’t get the divorced choke working to optimum then find or convert yours to a manual choke.
I’m assuming the choke set up is your problem.
