Re: Low Buck Build Threads Help or LBBTH

Bought my 1970 3/4 ton in running condition, straight body, nice bumpers & grille. Not a bad truck at all, just needed a lot of clean up and paint.

Even though the truck ran fine, I decided to take it apart. Here it is after sitting for the first two years I had it.

You can see paint was a huge improvement.

Engine looks fine and a nice rebuild done by previous owner.

I think the best thing done on the truck has been my attention to detail.

Engine a couple years after I finished.

Interior.

Decided to take it to a cruise and car show.

Here at the car show of over 500 vehicles.

Won 3rd place in the 67-72 modified pick up category.

Not to bad for a budget build work truck.

Other than used parts I had, paint, fluids, etc... I bought the new instrument bezel, chrome A/C vents, and carpet.
