O boy the trans was making a cavitation sound every time i started her up and couldn't figure why..I guess you have to put the transmission in NEUTRAL in order to get the trans fluid into the torque converter... who woulda thunk?? Well after the research on starting a dry fill transmission that's what you do fyi. Now she idles perfectly smooth.. It sounded as loud as cavitating a fire pumper... going to have to put the truck on hold for now until I can reason spending 1k for exhaust and a driveline... see u all hopefully in a couple months..
Keep that in mind also when checking the fluid level as older dodges don’t pump in park and same thing after pulling heavy the trans won’t cool down in park.
