Thats an interesting perspective.... I guess almost anything could be repaired but, then it loses its originality. Thats what I meant by it being something you can't undo (kinda like getting your virginity back).
Since he said he didn't want to cut out the dash and weld in a new one, the add on made sense to me. Dash stays original and he stays cool.
