I didn't like all the pine needles flying into my cab when I opened the vent. I should remake to pockets, but they work and nobody but me knows how ugly they are when installed.

I agree, the ABS ones look bad IMO. I've been building custom kicks, doors, panels of various size/shape for years. I like your design and the wood back is much better for sound than plastic, too.
