Pick a NHRA class of that era, nearly all were running big a littles and aftermarket valve covers. What sticks out in the minds of those who saw gassers run was the nose high attitude and the straight axles.
Like I said I really like Hardwaa's truck.... it's all good, but I still fail to see a gasser connection.

Ok. Enough hair splitting...... How should he correctly describe his theme? Nostalgic? 60's? Vintage?
I've seen many 'support' vehicles for gassers that weren't running straight axles. So would a gasser-influenced 'support' truck work better?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....
Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
