It probably wouldnt be a bad thing. especially depending on where in the world you may be. here i am less worried, but i may drop them off with a paint guy and have a few layers of clear put on them just to assure they stay fresh.

Thanks! i was actually just telling Lauren about your truck the other day. she was telling me about opportunities in N.Z. i had to tell her about the other cool old chevy that i knew about. haha. i told her i wasnt sure mine would be accepted for operation on the roads over there...

anyhow, i will proceed with some pics

The diff cover was waiting on tabs last i posted. here is the process for that

4140 insert and a pocketed hole in 6061 for the tab







with the cover welded and all mounted up.
