The 5.3 is the lsx design truck engine, it has 315 horsepower and 335 ft lbs of torque. This is the ls1, lsx, design engine, also known as the generation 4 small block chevy. It has the aluminum block and aluminum heads and hydraulic roller camshaft. The casting # on the cylinder heads are #799 .... The 6l80e transmission is general motors 6 speed automatic overdrive transmission.
This was just pulled last week from a wrecked 2010 gmc sierra 1500.......two wheel drive...... This combo has 63,767. The sierra was totaled, not doing any damage to the drive train. It ran absolutely perfect.
