That looks sweet, GR8-68. Tell us what wood that is. I think I know but I'll let you tell.
I'm not into show quality anymore, so I'll be oiling my wood. No hard sealing surface for me. I want to haul and not do a lot of maintenance. When it looks like it's getting dry, just slop more oil (meaning finish material) on and let it soak. Heck, if it turns out rougher around the edges I will just do used automotive oil mixed with kerosene.
