is trailer brakes elec over hydraulic? if so you need to hang a electric break magnet from ground to the breaks wiring on the trailer,(did so in my terminal box and stuck magnet it there as well) this style of system does not draw enough power not running/breaks applied to make the truck think there is trailer actually there. main reason i believe is because its a scr driven system not an old analog style (went through this myself for three or four days along with multiple calls around the country trying to find out wth to do)
