Follow-up on the Milton: I used it for the first time yesterday. I'm impressed. The tube is made of heavy gauge steel, which allows it to have deeper threads than I've typically seen on grease guns. The head is aluminum and has a rubber seal, so it looks like it's not going to leak. The piston and lock mechanism are really well built. The air release valve is similar to a Schrader valve; you push in the little ball and it releases the air. And the handle has two positions, one for pressure and one for volume. I it seems like it's going to last a long time. I would definitely recommend it.
