I had a 1/2 ton 89 Silverado I pulled my racecar and countless wrecks with. It had 120k on it when Irebuilt it from a wreck and put another 270k on it before I put it out to pasture and didnt use for quite a while. Once I needed it I tried to start it it never would pick up fuel ,instead of a tuneup I put in a 5.3 4 l60 e I had laying around. I loved that 6.2 I had some 6.5's and the 95 were the worst model but I see you have already addressed that with changing the pump to a better one so the problem is gone. Enjoy being different with that one. Jim
