I have seen a set of 17" wheels on a Canadian 1966 GMC 1 ton. But, the wheels appear to be a different style than the 17" wheels in the wheel thread. There are 17" x 5 and 17" x 6" wheels that were available. Perhaps this is the difference?

Here is the 17" wheel from the 1966 Canadian GMC 1 ton with 7.50-17 tires so I presume this is a 17" x 6" wheel. Note also that these wheels appear original to this truck as they are painted the same color as the body and do not show any evidence of having been painted over an original black wheel.
Are there any stampings on these wheels that would indicate the size?
If so, I would imagine they are on the inside and you would need to take the tire off, correct?
