It would be a lot less work to just to cut your corners off , do what you have to do and then weld them back on. I guess it all depends on your welding skills. I'm still learning besides once you put your bed back on nobody's really going to see it. Unless your building a show truck or something. I did manage to weld up the seams on my hood with out messing it up to bad. Good luck . Later Daverod .
