But I totally get this too. Very respectful. It sounds like you have articulated your feelings and connection to this truck very well. I'd be surprised if they forget about you when the time comes...
Reminds me of a thread on here from a couple years ago. Guy got to know the owner of a certain truck. Over time, became friends. One day the offer to buy came to him...
