That refer is a 1725 rpm r502 unit. It uses about 5 amps of 110 power. A new unit is a 3450 rpm and pulls 10-13 amps. Just because it has a energy star on it doesn't make it more efficient. The problem with these are the refrigerant. Bad for the ozone. But it works fine. So until than I am keeping it.
I built my truck and didn't worry about efficiency, how about you? Did you put a 4 cylinder your truck? It would pay for the truck in a few years. Lol.
