Gray wires are usually dash light wires and the heater panel has a light, so check to see if it will plug into the panel to power the light. also if you have a volt meter you can connect between the wire terminal and ground and turn on the lights and check for 12 volts on the terminal. be sure the dimmer knob on the headlight switch is turned on full bright.
