2006 chevy express oil pressure
I have noticed on my van with 6.0 the oil pressure gauge has started worry for me. I have put maybe 4k miles on it since purchase and when I 1st bought it cold startup pressure was a little less than 40lbs and once hot down to about 15lbs at idle. Now at cold start it is just one mark above the low danger red mark but once it is at operating temp bumps up to about 20-25lbs which is opposite of anything I have ever seen. Am I looking at more of gauge/sending unit issue or should I really be worried about actual low pressure?
