It won't clear the hood in your truck???

I have a 70-72 Z/28 dual snorkel for my '67 project. But I'm thinking about making one with the earlier style 327 air filter housing, like a '66 327 L79. On a C/30 I think an open element would look right at home, if you are wanting an authentic retro look. The open elements give the best power increase and that is what an owner would have been after in their heavy hauler more than a muscle car look. But a dual snorkel is definitely cooler looking than stock. Just saying I'd save that look for a go-fast truck
