If you go with the 4 link you can get it to go lower b/c you don't have the frame hitting the trailing arms. It isn't any more difficult. I just converted my 4x4 to a 2wd recently. Check out the pics of the 4 link and a pic of my 4x4 to 2x4 blazer.
