Good or bad idea?

I am equipped with the inside circulation heater, and I got the idea to try to connect the incoming air to the foot vent (or make a hole) with a hose. Anyone done anything similar?

Here in northern part of europe we are not overwhelmed with high temp during summer..
And the windows gets foggy kinda often even in modern cars.. So I think I need the fresh air..
