The 40 gallon tanks are handy, except when you have to drop them to change the fuel pump (again). Maybe things are different with your lift, but mine I have to sort of see-saw it up between the tailpipe and hitch and spring mounts. Hardest part is reaching in to get the lines connected. I dunno why GM couldn't have put a short line on the top of the tank with a union that you could reach over the axle? There's a pigtail and plug for the wires.

I don't know why either, it's crazy. same with the wiring pigtail, why is it way far out there, it's a royal PITA.
