Proper line routing is to radiator then to aux cooler.
Avoid all rubber hoses. When cold, fluid pressure can be very high.
If you decide to make new hardlines, use 5/16 Nickel Copper alloy. It flares easily, bends fair (grease your dies or it will kink) and is DOT approved.
