So I ordered the lowering brackets. Came very quickly and were shipped the day after I ordered them. Packaging was good. They look really nice and come with instructions. I think they will make a big difference. I quickly bolted them on the bench and placed it back in my cab to see the spacing. Only a slight concern is the steel looks a little thin but once it is all bolted down I'm sure it will feel more stable.

What I plan on doing is daily drive it for a couple months and then see if the foams have softened or if I need to cut an inch or so off the bottom/back of the foams.
