Old school used stuff is a crap shoot. I was going to use all late 80's Rockford Punch series amps because I know how solid they are, but they tend to be beat to hell or they want a fortune for them. You can get a good deal on older gear that might be in great shape. The old MTX Road Thunder amps are great, too. Once you get your speaker layout done first, then you will have an idea of how much power you will need.
