I was driving a 10-Speed RR at the time and I told him that if they ever buy me an Automatic, that will be the day I quit. I was serious and I believe he knew I was.
You just can't make beautiful sounds with an automatic.

I was sitting out by the street eating lunch last week, and a fleet truck took off at the stop light down the hill. That truck sounded like it was over revved by the time it shifted, then sounded smothered after it shifted.

Then a couple of bull haulers came by making the stacks sing.

The ability to speak several languages is an asset, but the ability to keep your mouth shut in any language is priceless.
