i just had both brand new a 1404 500cfm and a 1405 600cfm both mech choke and the primary booster body is much fatter on the 1404 500cfm to choke down the air feed to the butter fly plates . the rest of the info is prob correct but this is a point to understand in the carb info they left out . someone did post it in the #4 reply tho . so if you only read the main post on top you will miss it .
