That frame is shiney.4.10s with o/d is a great combo,I think.You`ll have the pulling power/torque of the gearing,then a good cruising rpm once running along.Do some research on the 700r4.They can be built to be alot tougher than stock.If you can find a 4L80E from a diesel`93 or earlier,that would be great.They use a "stand alone" ecm that just controls the tranny.In other words,you want to find it in a donor vehicle.4L60Es are good,just not as tough.Like the difference between a TH350 and a TH400.An even better,IMHO,route to take would be to run a good ol`TH tranny with a GearVendors auxilary o/d.I`m spendin`your money now.The o/d runs around $2,500,IIRC.
