Thanx Yelr, I have seen them before and had considered it, but I don't think my welding skills are up to cutting out an entire fire wall and trying to weld/stitch a new one in place without warping it. I may just cut out the rounded section of my firewall and build some kind of a square box. At this point though I am still stumped as to how I am going to blend in my toe board with the stock fire wall. if I only had an English wheel and about 20 years experience in metal working I would be all set.
