Mine had a little smell when I first had it in the cab before I put anything on top, but it was right after I did it. My cab got hot (portland hot, not Phoenix hot) and I didn't notice an odor.

I have a mat and carpet in now and don't smell a thing. My cab is dead quiet now, it's awesome.
