If it makes y'all feel any better my father and I sent about 9 of these trucks to the crusher around 1995. One was a complete (but very rusty) 69 gmc shortbox 4x4 (It was an old family plow truck)

Just think, everyone else's trucks are that much more valuable!

With the amount of sheetmetal and parts that are being reproduced, it almost doesn't make sense to take a truck that nice and use it as parts for other trucks. If I had 6K right now I'd be draggin that baby home. Is it a shame, yes. Can I do anything about it, unfortunately, no.
