I had the "bushings & spacers" installed wrong. I was able to get springs installed but what a PITA. I had to use a ratchet strap to pull spring into place - not sure I like the way I had to force the spring into place. As far as the spring hitting the rivet its either rubbing on the rivet or really damn close - I'll have to reexamine as I'm concerned it might squeak....
I purchased the springs through ORD but Alcan made them to their specs. Another buddy of mine called them and they said you could cut part of the "military wrap" off the spring.....not sure if you'd call them back you would get same answer...
