Hey Red.

I honestly never though of trying to use the stock connector. Mine are all butt and spade connectors. Good on you for going that route. Take some pics and post em up in the heated seat thread.

I actually put a relay in last weekend and wired up the seats a little better. They are ignition hot now versus constant hot and have nice clean grounds and wiring. I still don't have the heaters/memory wired yet. I need to get on that because it's starting to get chilly here in the mornings.

How/where are you pulling the power for your seats?
