OK, maybe a dumb question....but, I had a car once that someone had replaced the rocker on one side and put it too high. As a result there was no way to adjust the door to close without hitting the bottom of the door on the rocker.
How do I prevent this from happening if I'm working on replacing rockers and supports, with doors off?
Should I take original measurement from opening of doorway. Top to rocker, at ride height and at jacked height and just try to maintain this measurement during work?
Or should I work with doors on, to prevent any problem?
There may not be much rocker left to get good measurement from??
