if he removes the gas cap after it's been running and hears a wooshing sound he has a venting problem with the gastank

does he have lazyman rubber fuel lines? not unusual for those to collapse and or knikup or lay on hot metal and cause vapor lock problems


an old dirty gastank can get the fuel sock in the tank clogged
