Very nice, Back to the truck stuff. This weekend Jimbo and I went to pick-n-pull and scored a 40 gallon rear mount gas tank with a wonderful 1/8 thick steel protection shield from a suburban. It had EFI so the TBI fuel pump is in the tank. I will just need to run a pressure regulator and it will work for my carb. We also scored the filler neck and even brought the Milwaukee death wheel with us so we could hack the fuel door assembly from the Suburban. Im very excited to pick this one up. I think the weight of all the fuel will help level out the truck and now I feel much better about going on long camping trips with a 383 under the hood. AND!!! the sending unit is the same ohms as my old tank so the gauge works perfect!! :

There was a NV4500 and a couple 4l80e's at pick n pull, but they were all for 2wd. I am still tempted to pick them up and convert them to 4x4....
