THat's sorta what my truck looked like 35 years ago when I learned about not useing rubber fuel lines. At least I had a tailgate left over. Not a mark on it. It got used on another truck till it to went to that great metal scrap pile in the sky. It didn't survive the second time. Freight train got it!!
You don't even need to know how to flare lines. Just buy pre-built lines at the auto emporium and bend them to fit.
