Re: Grizz's Redneck Express 1966 Chevy Short Fleetside RESTO-GO!

Weird day.....

Woke early, fell asleep again and then woken by 07.30 by Harley making tiny little noises to see if I was alive.

Had to run around to get some stuff from shops, needed a new hedge trimmer as the one I have abused the last 6 years is dull as hell now. Needed some flat headed self tappers and Danish Oil too for some deck chairs Imhave to give some attention to.

Eventually home by 12.00 and then down to the garage.

Had planned some truck time today, and also wanted to start investigating a door or fender.

Looking forward to trying these Tungsten Carbide tips out as well.

Prozac needed to be completed after I ran out of time last weekend.

Ghetto repair part one was to raise the front end a bit, no need for jack.

Ex Aygo front lip fitted and screwed in place.

While under there, I realised just how messed up,the underside of the front end is, before my time for sure.

Fitted.

Paint next.

Completed.

Lower than expected, that is good then.

Happy with the result.

Also took the wheels back to Black all round, but wonder if I should redo the red trim.

By 3.30I had called it a day, and came in for a drink.

Even Dukey, not too clever most days, got in on the action, licking the bottle of 7 UP in my hand.

Bootfair and hopefully truck time in the morning after other chores are done.

Later.
