I plan to wire the speedomter up directly to an aftermarket LS-1 harness. The three prongs on the speedometer are for a ground, power, and the VSS input.

RUSSEL suggested looking at the clip used to attach to the Green Box behind another 1987 Chevy Truck cluster I have. I looked at that clip and it doesn't line up exactly.
