Grill clips 69-70 (maybe thru 72)

I NEVER buy hardware kits, but every one of my little slide-on clips for the inner to outer grill were rusted in half, so I thought might as well. Should have stuck with my instinct cause only thing out of the $20 kit that I can use is 8 bolts that hold grill to fenders and it's doesn't even come with the clips! Instead they were some plastic inserts that were way too big. So here is what worked for me (from Lowe's). Passing along info so if somebody else is trying to rebuild their grill too.

#10 x 11/32 U-clips fit perfect w/ #10 x 3/4" (probably could go with 1/2" long) stainless sheet metal screws. Tip: Use a butter knife to spread them apart & slide onto outer grill shell. I took qty 8 for perimeter + 2 in the middle, then 8 (4 each side) to hold the turn signals housings = Total of 18 clips & screws. And if you don't have the part that inserts into the plastic square on inner grill, you can use #12 washers. These are big enough to cover the square hole but still small enough to work w/ #10 screws (the #10 washers fall through sq hole).

Then for the headlight surrounds I used #8 x 3/8 clips & #8 oval phillips screws (these had a tapered head, so would fit more flush on outside).
4 each side = 8 total of those.

(I'll try to load pics, for some reason not letting me right now.)
