This is timely thread for me. I am thinking f buying this 71 GMC 4 x 2 to use as daily driver. Our Winters can be brutal but they used to be worse 40/50 years ago when all people had were these trucks to drive. If I put 2/300 pounds of ballast in the bed, a block heater and 4 snow tires on it it would probably work for me. Does any one today drive a 67-72 all year around where the Winters are harsh.
