That's some impressive twist on the what looks like the TQ housing! (I'm no fan of autos and even less knowledgeable about them)

But, in line with masterbeavis' comments, I've often read on forums like this one that the 4L80Es are much stronger than even built 700Rs. And built 4L80Es can take some serious abuse. Might be worth it in the long run to save up to go heavier duty so you can forget about tranny troubles for a while. Maybe a long while if you don't try to show off to '05 Stangs.
