speaking from my experience, cutting more than 1 coil off will make it ride kinda bad. you can get 1",2", or 3" drop springs from summit for @ $99 get the 2" or 3" springs and some 2 1/2" spindles with the rear flip and you will be golden.
I cut one whole coil plus 3 inches of the next one and my '80 bottoms out on most medium sized dips and bumps, not only that but it doesn't sit level either |
