I have done it with a 4x4 73+, and it was stock height with E-rated tires. It was my friends, and I drove it from LA to pretty much Havasu city for him. We had a box trailer about 10 foot long 7 foot high on the back.

They have a tendency to wander like a 3 year old at the mall, and winds are a white knuckle affair. When I did it. It was a one way trip of about 250 miles.

So if anything happens wind wise. Take it slow.
