Since you will have it apart, talk to the guys at 700r4.com. They can provide you with directions so that you set up your TV cable correctly. When you have the pan off, it is fairly easy.

I use the Painless wiring kit and a vacuum pressure sensor and a brake switch (replaces the existing one). It will only lock up in overdrive when there is sufficient vacuum (engine not under significant load) and unlocks when the brakes are applied.

I'm thinking there should be a relay in the circuit though to offload some of the amps on the ignition system.
