All your problems started when you swapped out the column. All the lights go through the column wiring harness. That's where I would start look. The wiring diagrams are at the top of the page and are a must to have and use for this type of stuff.

Take a good look at your main dash harnes connection also. You may have not gotten it plugged in good.
I found this on my daughters 68 dash yesterday when taking it a part.
This was the main connection and the grey wire was the main feed wire for all the lights. I had to cut it and splice it. Not to mention all the paint on the terminals!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
