Make sure you buy the fittings that are matched to the line you are using. They should be used as a set, if you mix and match fittings and line you could have all kinds of problems with the different variations between the two.

The fittings you linked in post 4 wont work on PFTE line, they work on the following.

Russell ProClassic
Russell ProClassic II
Russell ProFlex
Russell ProRace

All of these lines are essentially braided rubber of some kind and not PFTE.

What brand and model of line are you using?
