What usually causes burnt clutches in these transfer cases? Obviously using wrong fluid. Low fluid. Unserviced fluid. But as far as operation aren’t the clutches fully engaged in 4hi and 4lo? I would assume the clutches come into play during AUTO and during selection changes... just like shifting your gears on a manual transmission.
